@ Nappyweed111 - But Clinton was long gone by then and again, Bush was left to pick up the pieces. Clinton should have been a War time president but he wouldn't , being a pot smoking, tree hugging, hippy draft dodger (Oh and FYI , Bush was in the National Guard not a draft dodger... you should really do some research), he sat and waited and left his mess for the next guy to clean up. For what Clinton handed Bush, Yes! Bush was very good president.

@ Nappyweed111 - And Clinton's "surplus" was a joke anyway because he strong-armed banks to make unsafe loans under the "Community Reinvestment act" which looked good while he was forcing banks to spend money they didn't have but looked real bad a few short years later when people could not pay back their loans.

Sat idly by as the USS Cole was bombed, the 1st Trade Center attack in 93, US embassy bombings in 98, Letting Bin-Laden slip away 3 times in 96, not demanding Iraq to allow Arm's inspectors in,

@nappyweed111 hmm....better than the guy who bows down to the Chinese and the Saudi king and slashed our military defense budget and allowing the Russians to surpass the United States in NASA, or how about the guy who intervened when his best friend, the Harvard professor, was arrested by a police officer and said that he acted stupidly. Or how about the guy who brought the United States down from AAA credit rating to AA+ rating. That doesn't sound good. Yeah..very Lincolnesque of him!!
