I think people confuse 'PG' with 'Y7'. Look at other shows, like Friends, they're rated PG, but they're not kids shows. It's not the PG rating that's the problem, it's the way WWE approaches it. There are a LOT of TV shows rated PG that use words like "bitch" regularly.
