  • "Behind the conqueror stood a slave, holding over his head a golden crown, and whispering into his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting."

A perfect postscript to this magnificent movie.

  • this is just great. a subdued soundtrack to a monumental movie and the greatest acting performance, perhaps, in the history of cinema.

  • Excellent! I remember my Dad taking me to see this film when it opened. It was great. Just me and him. Everytime I see something relating to this magnificent movie I think of him. He passed awhile ago but he's always with me. He was cool and he was my Dad-thanks for posting this!

  • "Remember what Frederick the Great said: L'audace, l'audace, toujours de l'audace!"

  • For over a thousand years, Roman coquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of a triumph- a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeters and musicians and strange animals from the conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conqueror rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children, robed in white, stood with him in the chariot, or rode the trace horses.

  • Outstanding sound track.

  • Awesome Music!!!!
