People who argue for more govt subsidy of 'green' energy should probably learn that every govt has been subsidizing 'green' energy for decades, and it doesn't take off. Why? Because it can't produce sustainable energy for sustainable cost. If it could, it would win in the free market. Add into that the fact that we can't deploy anywhere near enough 'green' sources due to other 'green' concerns (no solar panels even in a desert?!?) then you see how ridiculous this is.
