  • I was thoroughly confused with myself during this scene. I steadily agreed with him, of course not to the point of saying it's "Nigger Bullshit." Saying "This black thing, is just as good as this white thing," doesn't denounce racism at all. If we truly denounced racism, we would pick these books on the book itself, not who wrote it. Is this supposed to be evoked to the audience? I feel that his dad is absolutely correct about most things... and I'm Asian...

  • @MrPessimisticrealist "Sympathy vote?" What in the flaming pits of hell are you even talking about? Forgetting that profound non-sequitur for a moment...what you think happens here is irrelevant; what matters is what actually happens. And there's absolutely zero debate that this exact situation occurs constantly. Its reality is not even slightly controversial.

  • I am goin to say this simply, in Britain the white people are the niggers! we get treat like second class citizens in our own country whilst blacks, muslims and eastern europeans get prioritised with housin, healthcare etc, muslims are allowed to chant disgustin things at our soldiers comin bk from Afghan and we get arrested if we retalliate, we let these cultures walk all over us, England doesnt fuckin exist anymore, I didn't used to be racist but now I am COZ I AM SO FUCKIN PISSED OFF!

  • @MaximusRelaximus Ah i see, so its the sympathy vote. I don't think that really happens here, the cheaper or more experienced labour gets the job, not designated on colour. I can understand the basis of the idea, but from what i've learnt from research the idea and the action taken don't really go hand in hand. Cheers for that mate!

  • @746c

However Nazism and the belief in White Supremacy are two different things.

  • Luis Suarez should sit down with John terry and watch this move. :o).

  • The dad is right in everything he says, but nazism is a very wrong mentality to have

  • People don't realise that there is racism everywhere, there is too much focus on racism towards black people

White people are the only people who care about racism.

Racism is pathetic, ignorant and stupid.

But I am just saying. There is racism in every race

  • @MrPessimisticrealist It's an attempt to correct a problem that doesn't exist. It takes the false assumption that differences in outcomes between the races can only be attributed to "racism," and then, to "correct" the situation, standards are lowered either uniformly or specifically for the "discriminated against" group, etc. For example if a white applicant scores an 85 on a pre-employment test and a black applicant a 75, the black applicant might get the job offer.

  • Can someone please describe 'affirmative action' for me (without racist comments), I don't think we've ever had it in the UK.
