SATURDAY MAY 1, 2010-SUNY NEW PALTZ, EOP CONFERENCE. KEYNOTE SPEAKER-JUBILEE MOSLEY.
Jubilee Mosley- born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from
Sheepshead Bay H.S. class of 1999. Jubilee was an EOP student at SUNY New Paltz from '99 to '03 majoring in Communications with a minor in French. She studied abroad in Besancon during her Junior year. As an dergraduate, she participated in Culture Shock Dance Troupe becoming President as a Sophomore until she left to study abroad. She was the Coordinator and Director of Dance Expo III and IV. Jubilee also served as an
RA in Bliss (junior) and Bouton (senior ), and was inducted into Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society (2003).
Upon graduation and acceptance into the New York City Teaching Fellows program, Jubilee taught in East New York, Brooklyn for four years. At this time (Feb 2007) she was accepted into New Leaders for New schools, which is a
leadership program for urban principals. This program is highly selective and Jubilee was one of 9 chosen from over 100 applicants and the youngest member of her cohort at the age 25. In her residency year (2007-2008), she worked as a Principal-in-Residence/K-2 Academic Director-In Residence at Explore Charter School in Brooklyn, New York.
In August, she began working for Achievement First, a nonprofit charter school management organization operating a growing network of high-performing, K-12 public schools in Connecticut and New York. She is Dean of Academic Achievement and School Culture/ Administrative Coach.
