@mlgprotipsy It's about 20 minutes of runtime for the XM-L, but keep in mind this is a 2 CR123 sized light, if I bore the tube for 18mm cells, then it will give me 1 hour of runtime with 1X 2900mAh 18650. My point is that I can plop in the P60 for 65 lumens from an incan, plop in an R5 giving me 250-300lumens, plop in an XM-L T6 for 700 lumens, plop in a Tri R5 for 1200 lumens, plop in a IR LED for use with NODs, lots of capability for lego.

@mlgprotipsy Plopped an XM-L D26 drop in for my C2 giving me 600-700 OTF Lumens.....You can pick up a Tri XPG R5 LED and put it into the C2 running on 2X IMR 16340s(Lithium Manganese chemistry) for 1200 lumens....

If any drop-in is worthy of being plopped into SureFire's bodies, it's Gene's stuff.. ;-)

... re-read my post. One hundred and twenty lumens, is that easier to read? And actually, 120lumens is plenty bright, especially when you flash a reflective surface (i.e. mirror, window, white painted wall, etc.) and blind yourself. Also, take into account the fact that Surefire tends to under-rate their lumen output.

Had to comment- changing the head isn't neccessary to get 120 lumens- swapping the P60 for a P61 will do the trick. P61's are around $25, so its money well spent if you ask me. The only con is that battery life is diminished when you swap to this bulb.

I've got it with Malkoff M60 drop-in, C2 is my favorite flashlight!

it's an awesome light i have it for two years and i go camping backpacking with it and even use it for edc .the clip point where it catches whatever you are clipping it on to is matched with the rubber lip so it doesn't tear your pocket and stays perfect it has two rubber o rings that make it weatherproof and the glass is really strong and hard to scratch the only downside is that it's not equipped with led so you have to buy from surefire for 50 bucks the flashlight itself is 95 bucks
