You decide the next game we break down, the week of November 1st, 2010!!
Coach Nick uses all 8 turnovers by LeBron James from opening night versus the Celtics to illustrate why the Heat is not an elite team, and won't be anytime soon. HINT: Spoelstra, pick an offense and go with it. Visit http://bballbreakdown.com for even more basketball content.

  • nick, what's the best offensive play in your opinion that could possibly bamboozle any team?

  • @jamtheman3017 My favorite is when a team gets the ball to the high post, and the strong side forward cuts backdoor for a layup - any kind of backdoor is my favorite. Dribbling at the man and having him either backdoor or go over the top for the pass and shot is also something that is almost impossible to stop when executed correctly.

  • Coach nick should be on 1st and 10 debating against Skip

that would be fun to watch

  • @sathyawr Would love that - I frickin' hate Skip Mylenski - hated him when he was writing for the Tribune and i was growing up in Chicago!

  • @bballbreakdown ahah who's skip mylenski? I was talking about Skip Bayless

and hey coach nick I sent you an email two weeks ago asking if you could do a video on Brandon Jennings's 55 point game on November of 2009 against the warriors (during his rookie year). Is that still a possibility? I think i speak for everyone when I say I'd love to see the mechanics behind a 55 point performance

  • @sathyawr Wow - my mind is slipping. Skip Myslenski was also a columnist for the Tribune - who was very good. Bayless was not so much, IMO.

If that game ever comes on, I'd do it - but I'm at the mercy of ESPN Classic and NBA TV - whatever they put on, I'll record. Thanks!

    Coach Nick

  • So I guess the Celtics aren't an elite team either. So elite teams are just...well Lakers out, Spurs out, Celtics out, you say Heat isn't...soo I guess the NBA Elite teams are the Chicago Bulls and......well according to this, that's about it.

Now for those who aren't haters, Miami and Boston are both elite teams and Miami was better. The elite teams then being the Bulls, Heat, and Celtics. Go East!

Its funny cause ECF is going to be better than actual Finals.

  • how are the heat not an elite team u stupid fuck they have 3 allstars and a two time mvp if they weren't an elite team they wouldn't get to the finals u swear u know everything ur an idiot

  • bosh is the nicest of them

  • How can you say it isn't elite team if they won over Celtics and Bulls?

  • @LazerJet27 i guess u didnt see when the vid was made? lol

  • 4 out would be a good offence or press

  • No one in the East is going to be able to realistically compete with Miami next year. We just got to handle our business when we get back to the Finals next year......oh and Miami IS an elite team regardless if we lost in the Finals. Just ask Chicago and Boston.

  • @hlhome true that

  • yea, they suck/....
