This class was taught on Maui, Hana, Hawaii. This student is using the PWC to transit through the surf with a rescue board and people on board. He makes good choices following the water/wave movement diagonally to safely transit, good throttle/helm control and safe speeds. There is a lot to be said for 'safe speeds'. Most operators make the common mistake thinking that powering through underway is correct, when in fact it is not the best option and not the best technical choice, especially with people on board.
