I've never seen the entire thing, but this looks like the worst of the Rankin/Bass specials, and that's saying a lot. They made some classics (Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Little Drummer Boy, Life and Adventures of Santa) but for every good special they made like 3 bad ones. This, Rudolf's New Year, First Christmas Snow, Jack Frost, and Nestor the Donkey are the bottom of the barrel.
