I've been thumbing through the pages
of the life I use to know
I hadn't seen these things in ages
I guess I should just let them go
I wish sometimes I'd never known you
I'd be much better off alone
but then it only stands to reason

Hey Tim, thank you buddy. This song could have been so much better. The sound to me isn't right, might be all the compression I'm not sure but it's not right. I had a hard time getting my cousin to play his part, he gets a little "studio nerves" when I hit the record button lol but he did a great job. I'm honored to have him on it. We go back a very long way in our music. Reg

@jhaley12 Hey Reg you're welcome. It's great to write from experience,makes the song come alive more and that's why we appreicate it more,we can feel it. I know I'm gonna dig your instrumental but don't stop now,you're burning hot with the tunes. The best way you can thank us is by working on more songs and letting us hear them. @cbrb40 Thanks Rick, I always look forward to your comments. I too think the song and video compliment each other pretty well. This type of song is easy for me to write because I've lived them and just write from experience. I'm afraid this is about the limit of my music being exposed though. I've been working on an instrumental that's over 6 minutes long, experimenting with just how much I can say without any words. If I get it posted I hope you like it. Thanks as always my friend, Reg

I'm on my second listen already. ;) I want to commend Trish too for always putting up the right scenes for your songs. She's awesome too. My dear brother you can be writing for soundtracks in the movies. Your work should be acknowledged and heard by millions it's that great! And you can do the whole song yourself,you don't even need a band at this pioint. This is a very endearing love ballad,the best kind! :)))
