Army Soldier Epic Airborne Fail

Ok, so we're on patrol and the Humvee gets stuck in a tight spot. I decided to turn on my helmet camera (You never know what you're going to get on film). So as it is being prepared to be pulled out, the gunner attempts to get out to be safe. Well you see what happens next. Watch as his face bounces off the ground and loses the ability to hold onto his weapon. He walks away with no injuries. This is something you will watch more than once cause it's so damn funny.

UPDATE: So he just had knee surgery from that incident and hard charging. Now one thing I forgot to mention before, this guy had a broke neck for 3 weeks before the docs figured it out, he had surgery and still deployed. He's a go getter' and now some humor at his expense.

@PeaceMaker816 So instead of staying inside the HMMWV he dismounts. So now the gunner has to use his M4 and not the M240. I understand the truck is a bigger target than his silhouette but damn who is going to provide suppressive fire.

@rdsquez We had 3 other gun trucks there so security wasn't an issue. We maintained 360 security. The biggest concern was the big ditch on the left or the ditch on the right, it was really tight and if he stayed in and it rolled, that would have been bad JuJu. Just precaution.
