Just a few months after a right-wing government gained power in Israel, Irans hardliner president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was declared the winner in Fridays election, although his main rival has not accepted defeat and reformist supporters were skirmishing with security forces in the capital Tehran Saturday.
According to Irans Interior Ministry, Ahmadinejad took 62.6 percent of the vote, with leading reformist candidate Mir Hossein Moussavi receiving 33.7 percent thus averting a widely anticipated run-off. The ministry says turnout was a record 85 percent of eligible voters.

This reminds me so much of the Chinese students in Tianamen Square and the massacre that followed that under Dung Xiaoping. If not yet, trust me, these Iranians and their families are gonna get hurt sooner or later. Probably later when the protests arent world news anymore.

"If anyone is killed". Well that could be a problem seeing as most likely hundreds have been killed now.

Nothing is more evident than the brave young man stating: "This government, won't allow us to say what we want" then a group of young men chanting "WE WANT FREEDOM!" Good luck to all the brave young Iranians putting themselves in harms way by standing up for a basic human rights.
