If you wanted to go with something that you can glue down First make sure it has wear layer of no less than3/16 so it can be refinish in the future. I would go with OWENS, TERA, LAUZON are all A+ products and should only run you from 6 to 9 bucks a foot depending on width and species. If done properly no one will know its not solid wood.(except me) Owens also comes unfinished so you can make it any color you'd like. All three can be nailed down as well. (pro only!) ya, once you get home with ur laminate flooring throw it in the trash cause its all garbage!

They left out the hard part. Once you start the 2nd piece in the second row you cannot get it in place without leaving a space.
It also shows you have to lisft row 2 the complete length of the room and snap into place. Not an easy task for a 50 foot distance.
This istallation is not as simple as the video shows.
