These guns are actually quite rare. these were made as reserve weapons to replace the G3 when Germany was possibly facing war. But during their production the threat of war went away and the G3 was cancelled and the amount of G41's that were made was a lot smaller than attended and the only way to really see these guns are in museums. The G36 Was soon to out perform and would replace the weapon.

@THEcrazyKAT Yes and no, the M16 family (including the M4 carbine) use a NATO standard of magazine design called Draft STANdardization AGreement 4179 (This was pushed as the standard by the US). It has not been ratified, but generally accepted in NATO and some non-NATO nations for their weapons.
