DISCLOSURE: If you are looking for a "hand holding" tutorial for emulation on the Mac, this video is not for you. I touch on the main points about the emulation scene today (that most other videos don't touch on), and I expect my viewers to be a little hands on; it's all pretty straight forward and just requires the "old college try." If you have a burning question, send me a message and I will try to give you an answer or some advice. Please keep all this in mind before you rate. Thanks (end of disclosure). The purpose of this video is to get my fellow Mac users on the emulation scene starting from square one. This is a tutorial on how to emulate in a worthwhile and enjoyable way — the proper way. This is a comprehensive guide that will have the newbie emulating like an expert in no time. Although my guide will discuss terms that Mac users will understand best, the general idea behind emulation discussed can prove valuable to Linux and PC users as well. A lot of text will be put up throughout the video. Read carefully and pause the video if necessary. Also, it is suggested to watch in full screen mode, so to see the information in my browser. Basically, there are four steps to becoming an expert emulation user: 1. Own the original games. 2. Get an official USB controller. 3. Get an emulator. 4. Download the ROMs/ISOs. I also provide information on how to netplay on the Mac. At the end of the video are some tips and troubleshooting solutions. Have fun and let me know how it goes. =) The games, content within the games, logos, controllers, consoles and software mentioned in this tutorial are trademarks of their respective trademark holders. • This was great! Even it doesn't work out for me, the whole concept and thoroughness of it all was very inspiring. Looking forward to trying!

  • Okay, @ 9:35 it says that the user must legally own the games to play them. Are ROMs just individual compatibility software downloads to play a specified game?

  • whats the soundtrack to this?, cool stuff.
