Thanks for sharing THIS. :)

I think he was playing devil's advocate a bit here. He wasn't "wrong" about anything he said, and he didn't seem to have prepared any "gotcha' types of questions, so having her on was definitely a desire to promote her work, or he wouldn't have done it. I'd rather this than someone who just agrees and says "you're so right, I really hope people read your book."

I absolutly agree with you, regarding portraying bad image of africa should be stopped

She is impressive!

Incredibly articulate by Moyo. On holiday in Ghana right now, and here it seems they've gotten your message, mrs. Moyo. As with Rwanda. Things are moving ahead.

This message is not just for Africa, but for the world as a whole.
Well spoken Dr Moyo..

Dambisa rocked the house in this interview. It has been over a year of Dr. Moyo going around with her message and still nobody on the pro-aid side can come up with any intelligent arguments that aren't immediately slapped down by her. This was an intellectual beat down.
On a side note, it looks like Dambisa got a nose job! I don't think she needed one, but whatever floats her boat. She was beautiful before and is still beautiful now.
Dr. Dambisa Moyo ROCKS!

I loved this discussion. When people think of poverty they think of Africa yet Africa is the richest continent in the world. Africa needs jobs and industry etc and less focus on aid. hand ups should never hold you down. Dambisa you have opened my eyes to the real plight of Africa

Nice I am putting this on the main page of my site.
Africans are not children. Stop treating them like they are stupid and can't take care of themselves. Preach, on Dambisa.

Old man got schooled. Unfortunately, I think he came across as slightly ignorant while Ms.Moyo was more eloquent and succint than I have seen her on other occasions.
