Freetrack in FSX with 6DOF

Just a test with Freetrack in FSX. I couldn't justify spending AU $350 + for a full TrackIR setup so I built a head-set for under AU $15 and used the free software supplied on the Freetrack website http://www.free-track.net/english/




They've also got instructions on how to build the head-sets.
I was pretty amazed at how well it works. I've had to load this clip 3 times now as whenever I try to add audio using the Adioswap function, it reduces the length of the clip down to 1 min 47 secs so until that bug gets fixed there'll be no audio I'm afraid.

Hi, sorry to bother you with my question.

I just bought a brand nw computer that i had made especially for games, but i don't get as good results as you concerning ground details and image rates.

Do you use any addons for FSX? What do i need to do to have similar results?

coo, I was able to build and connect to FSX. But my issue is the motion and the room for movements.

When I look up, the view also goes up like if I raised myself up and if I look left or right, zoom is activated..

how can I fix this? I had to disable all transitions to make rotation work.

also, it is difficult to maintain head position when I want to operate the overhead panel in the FO side.. nick pain and limited motion within FSX

very impressive, what is ur webcam? and what tutorial did you follow to get this? It seems very fluid like trackir and i dont wanna spend over 200 $ CND for that! heh! thx man, hope to have some advice from you
