Actually, this is NOT the original. The original was "Last Man on Earth" starring Vincent Price. Probably my favorite of the three versions. It changes the ending, like all versions, but is kept in tone with the original.
Listen up, you creatures of "The Wheel!" Great news for all you lovers of this awesome Ron Grainer soundtrack! Film Score Monthly just re-released it, as "The Omega Man: 2.0 Unlimited." I just received my CD in the mail this afternoon. It's been completely remastered! And it was only $19.95, not the $300.00 that the first-release CD is going for on eBay. I have both CD's, but the newer one definitely sounds crisper. So, go to Screen Archives and get yours today! You won't be disappointed! Johnny
This is the original "I Am Legend" that Will Smith ripped off. I love this one so much better. By the way, do you have the previews for "White Dog" or "Brotherhood of Death"? How about "Die Sister Die"?
Oh look! Charlton Heston, and he's always carrying an automatic weapon.

Love the organ music. It gives it a real creepy sense.

The Triumph 350 used in the movie seemed a great idea back in 1971.There were many rented to American tourists in the U.K.
I saw 12 of them with consecutive number plates at the Bath Blues and progressive Music Festival.
