Never officially issued on dvd, Blind Man's Bluff (U.S. title) is an overlooked loungy and convoluted eurothriller filmed in Spain as The Corpse Collectors, and features Boris Karloff in one of his last roles. Karloff is a famous blind sculptor who uses real bones as the framework for his creations. His wife, played by Viveca Lindfors, is the killer procuring the bones. French actor Jean-Pierre Aumont is a writer fooling around with a potential model/victim. Karloff passed away in 1969, and the producers seemed to have lost direction. The film features a variety of international participants, including a British-born American, a frenchman, spanish, and german actors as well. Initially produced in 1967, Blind Man's Bluff did not receive a U.S. theatrical release until 1972.

  • I love anything with Karloff in it..Even if it's not the best film...He's a legend..Also love Mario Bava films aswell...The colour in his films is amazing..The scenes are always beautifully shot..Class act BOTH GUYS..Miss German Actress aswell..Sommer?? Eike Sommer..What a woman! She's beautiful in this film..I love the scene with her at the dinner table at the start of this film..She's a fine lookin woman..my lord! She's hot..

  • Amazing that this movie was made in the late 60's but not released until the early 70's. What a trouper the late great Boris Karloff was! Though in extremely poor health & suffering from respitory problems that would eventually kill him in '69 at the age of 81, he gives his usual top notch performance. He was a true professional: giiving each role his all no matter how low the budget or how weak the sript. The production values here are actually pretty good; THANK YOU for posting this! :)

  • Dig that kuh-ra-zy brain box beat. Were the sixties really this cheesy? I'm needing some Maynard G. Krebs un-poetry here.

Thank you for this trip, man. Where on earth did you find it??

  • Well the credits sure have me on edge, Joel.

  • Thanks for this rare cult classic. Great channel...hope you continue to upload great old flicks of yesteryear. Peace.
