Filipino Sour Soup - Corned Beef Sinigang Sampalok Recipes

Filipinos love their sinigang. It's a very popular soup with a signature sour broth. If you've never had sinigang, you gotta try it. Most versions are made with seafood or pork. Today I have a beautiful corned beef brisket that I found at the market and I think the flavour of this meat goes quite well with the sourness of the broth. HI Jay !!!! during the winter i often asl my mom to prepare a very simply meal called "Joue de boeuf" in fact it is the cheek of beef, cooked with carrots , macaronis ( or pasta) in a sauce ... the Meat is "jelly" not fat and not hard .... next time I will ask Mom to make one and i will take picts !!!!
