Installation of a RunCore Pro IV 1.8in Zif SSD in an HP Mini netbook. This install was done without the Mini's hard disk bracket but works just the same with it. Installation takes no more than 30 seconds!

  • why the fuck is this stupid cable so long? i had a hard time twisting this bitch inside the viliv s5

  • LOL that was the fastest fcking guide ive ever seen, you didnt explain anything but putin that inside lmao, i beilived people would like to know how to get to that point opening the HP lawls useless video.. expect for where to put it

  • It took me 2 hours ... not 30 seconds ... my problem turned out that the ribbon cable still has about 0.5mm of play back and forth in the socket (on both ends). After I aligned the ribbon *perfectly* with the conductors the drive started working.

"Aligned" for me means ribbon snug against left edge of connector looking at the connector front the top and the connector along the top of the drive. Same on hpmini side - ribbon snug against left-side of pata-zif connector looking down at the MB.
