Pressing flowers is easily done by placing the bud in the middle of a phone book, stacking more phone books on top and letting it sit in a cool, dry place. Create beautifully pressed flowers for scrap-booking or decoration with helpful advice from the owner of a flower shop in this free video on flower arrangements.

So do you... not push down on it, flatten it and then leave it?
Just put a weight like that and let it gradually flatten?

Hi,
I love having dried flowers inside my acrylic nails but I am tiered to pay always lots of money for those. I collected a hole bunch now, cut them and made them between sheets of paper towel and really heavy books. When do I know that they are dry enough? Do you know some types That grow tiny flowers and come in different colors?
