This is a Video of the 1989 Glenbard East Theater Production of GREASE. It was directed by Fred Hoebel, who was the theater director at Glenbard East in the 80's. He was known affectionately as "God with a Moustache". This is what is called a Convo. It was a sampler production we put on for other schools who were bused into see it. I starred as Kenickie. That's me (was me 19 years ago) dancing on the car in the second part. Enjoy!

  • They're still using THOSE stairs?? Nothing like good old G.E. Recycling! The stairs were nothing. Sliding down the hood of the car, landing onstage with a half a foot in front of you and the orchestra pit, now THAT was a challenge! They were taking bets every night up in the sound booth that I was gonna do a header into the pit. I should have taken that bet, I could have cleaned up...PS Heise and Kimec ROCK!
