  • Easy done Rob - I'm working on a trip report on AKFF at the moment. Should be a bit more info there in the next day or so.

Cant include a link in youtube comments unfortunately, but if you go to w w w. akff. net and search for mcarthur, you should be right.

  • We were tempted to pop out to Vanderlin Rob - but I didn't trust the tinny we had available to us, so decided to stay local instead. If we'd had a slightly more trustworthy motor, I would have been pretty comfortable in going out to Centre island on at least 4 out of the 6 days we had available.

I'd definitely recommend a rising tide though - the mud banks out the front of the river are very hard to navigate. From VHF chatter, the fishing out in the bay was excellent; marlin/sailfish/cod/etc.
