@44tonfilmer Wow, sorry I had a life in 2003 and that I didn't see the blurb about his death online, on TV or in the newspaper. Come to think of it, there probably wasn't even that much coverage on his death. So, yeah, not much gets past me when I am taking care of 3 small children and not stalking celebs on the internet. Was your reply even necessary?

@jail1205 He died?? That's horrible - I never heard that! He was and is one of my favorite performers on the show. He was my second interracial crush (after Huggy Bear from Starsky and Hutch). I'm not trying to be funny either! I was a little baby white girl lovin' me some Leroy. :) What a terrible loss, though. :(

Yes. Season 2 Episode 17. I'm the guy that did the video special effects for that episode. Lee Curreri wrote the script (based on my live performance work) and wrote and performed that song. A very fun time and great working with Debbi Allen. The producers took a gamble hiring me (a non LA guy) to do the show. They were pleased with the result.
