Something appearing to be a wood log (maybe fossilized) was found on Mars.

Mars at least for 1 billion years, did have oceans, till an event happened that stopped the planets magnettic fields which once gone, the atmosphere was stripped away. On earth, the first trees formed around 400 million years ago. Trees on mars, unlikely, but not completely false. 1 billion years is enough for at least primitive life to have started there. Trees are far more complex, but until people land there...

It looks without a doubt a Log of Wood.

Where there is wood there is Bacteria to eat away at it. There was life on Mars once, without a doubt. Catastrophe happened. Who oever survived moved off world and survived by living as Rogues on other planets. They were afraid to settle in one place as they feared what would happen if Catastrophe happened to them again. There seems to be wood on Mars as other photos and vids show in a strong demonstrative way, the essential is to mention the topic for further research, videos don't always reflect accuracy with usual loss in transfer; please visit the Plants , trees, forests on Mars videos, eg. I store a good one on my main fave box, no doubt that forests exist there,so there's going to be wood, we mustnt judge at what other ones see from original pics.Go see the links people! and these vids I mention,
