Filmed with a Meade electronic eyepiece through an 8" LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Using progressively less focal reduction, the magnification was increased twice, then the cycle was repeated on a new area of the moon.

  • Thanks! I don't think Meade makes it anymore, but it's basically a monochromatic video camera with a built-in 1.25" nose piece. It should work great with a 6" newtonian. You can still find it on amazon from third party dealers, or on astromart from time to time (that's where I got mine).
