I remember when I was getting ready to jump into buying some Hakuhodo Makeup Brushes some time ago I couldn't find much info online. Luckily for us now with youtube we all can actually see the brushes in action before we even buy them! I started my collection about two years ago and and have been enjoying them ever since. These brushes are truly amazing. The ones I have are the softest brushes I own by far! I put together this video so you could see how some of these HAKUHODO brushes look like, and to get an idea of their 'feel' (as much as you can in a video!). I hope you enjoy it, and if so, that you click on Thumbs Up so other may see it soon. Thanks for watching!

  • I am in the market for a finishing brush and am debating between the Kokutan and the S100. Since you have both, which do you prefer? Beside the overall look of the brushes, can you tell much difference otherwise? Does the synthetic/natural mix in the Kokutan make a difference?

  • @redlipjazzer To be completely honest with you, I feel the S102 is the softer of the two. The Blue Squirrel hair is extremely soft. The Kokutan has the mixed goat and synthetic hair and even though it's soft, once you wash it several times some bristles become a bit more stiff.

  • I just placed my first order for 3 Hakuhodo brushes and I can't wait for them to come. They're supposed to be here tomorrow or Monday. Yay! :) Love your videos. I just discovered you a few days ago while searching YT for Hakuhodo brush videos. You're amazing. Your Guerlain terre indigo tutorial is so gorgeous. I keep going back and forth as to whether I should splurge on that palette or not. sigh. What to do what to do?

  • @Ibbygirl19 Thank you so much! I love trying these out, and sharing what I find out. I only wish I could find more time to do it more often, hahaha. Let me know if you end up getting the Guerlain terre indigo, I always love to see videos or read about others who tried the same things I have. It's so much fun, and I always get to learn new things :-)

  • @namastebeauty Oh PS! I got my Hakuhodo brushes yesterday. They're awesome! I love them. :) I can't wait to get some more. :)

  • @Ibbygirl19 Aren't they addictive!!! LOL Enjoy them!!!

  • @namastebeauty :) you're so kind and sweet. :) Ay, I still don't know what to do about the Guerlain palette. Ugh! I have to go to Sephora and play with it, but there's some new things from MAC I want too so we'll see which way I go. lol :)

  • @donnashorts1 Thanks! I really enjoyed making it. Let me know if there's any other types of videos you'd like to see!

  • wow, the brush junkie sent me, this video is beautiful, wonderful job.

  • @brushjunkie Thank you! That's a huge compliment. They are my favorite favorite brushes. I also got curious after a mention in a yt video, but it was very hard to find good info on them. I bought one to try it out and the rest is history, they are just so soft and really worth the price! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, so share it with others who might enjoy it too! :-)
