Jennifer Cluff, flute, performs Bordel 1900 from Histoire du Tango by Astor Piazzolla. The tempo is spicy and unpredictable even to the flutist and guitarist Scott Arnold. There's a long story about that, but overall I'm happy with this performance. Make sure you listen to mvmts. 2 (Cafe 1930) and mvmts. 3 & 4 from this series.

  • Thankyou so much!! J.

  • Dear Rainflute,

Soft dynamics in the high register is one of the more advanced techniques that you learn after about four years of private flute lessons.

You can also read about dynamics on my webpage which is my name jennifercluff and then dot and then com.

Use the search box to read about dynamics.

    Best,

    Jen

  • Nice job! I'll add this to my collection of videos in a channel I made for school use.

  • Thankyou leelarson. Send me the link to the school videos. I'm curious to see what's in there along with flute performances.
