I am one with the earth, naked knee-deep in mud all day, it takes decades of work planting seeds over disarray. Miles and miles away, the crops will grow my agony, with sounds from the plains, failed attempts to rescue me.

You know what I really, really hate about this song? After the first verse is done with, this incredible symphony of music comes in, and it fits together so well, and sounds so amazing, yet the song only has about 40 seconds left.

@z3nithnadir It sounds like Benn is explaining the life of a tree or something. One with the earth? Tree. Naked, knee-deep in mud? Tree. Planting seeds over disarray? Well yes, a tree's seeds are normally carried randomly and rather far from it's location, depending on the wind direction. The rest of the lyrics don't really add up to that theory, though.
