Hosted by Leonard Nimoy and broadcast weekly from 1976 to 1982, In Search Of... is the greatest mystery documentary show ever. I grew up watching this show, enjoying the spine-tingling presentation of quasi-fact and dramatic synthesizer-heavy music of Rinder and Lewis.

I am not selling this material, neither am I interested in buying bootlegs. It is currently commercially unavailable, so I am joining with others to make evaluation of this excellent series possible.

@pict7 Sorry about the truncation... unfortunately I did not rip these. From the average time format of other episodes (20 minutes, 45 seconds without end credits), I estimate that there is only a few more seconds of footage before the end credits...

@beautystruck Ah...I remember a bit of 70s film - I believe from "In Search Of" - of a woman healer "walking" a doll down someone's back as a cure for something, and was wondering if it could have been part of this episode. But hey thanks for responding. Appreciated. =)

I like this show (generally) and am appropriately thankful to "beautystruck" for posting it. However, this episode missed the mark. Rather, than taking such a mystical approach, they should have looked at the healing power of the mind... in concert with the witch doctor phenomenon.

So you come to a new place that is almost incomprehensible from a tiny village and are in culture shock. Why do you need evil spirits to explain that? It's pretty obvious why he is (appropriately) freaked out by such a massive change. Save the evil spirit explanation for things that aren't so obvious.
