@landyachtfan79 its not my fault that honda and toyota can not compete in those class's ..and our econo cars were not just brought to lite to compete with the imports..we had econo cars since 1960 ..and some of our econo cars beat the imports at their own game ..i mean is a toyota yaris or a honda civic a world class car?,,they are cheap disposable cars like a focus or colbalt ..and i personally dont like small cars anyway

@390merc65 Um, may I remind you that your F-150 & your Grand Marquis are apart of 2 market segments that the big 3 have always EXCELLED AT, trucks & full size sedans?!!! You will never hear me bitch about those 2 vehicles!!!!! The cars that I take the most issue with are our economy cars & compacts. I feel that they were just born out of a knee-jerk, racist attitude of "we don't want them dayum furr-in cars here in 'Murr-ka"!!!! T

@landyachtfan79 maybe i should buy a nissan with the sway bar that breaks , or a honda with cheap ball joints, or a lexus with bad , weak valve springs ,..i have owned nothing but american all my life and always will ..and yet i get to work each and everyday without trouble with a 35 year old ford f150..unlike my neighbor with his superior built honda that is on its second tranny with only 135k on it....oh and 1 more thing..i answer to no one...i am the boss ..and remember?.buy american

@landyachtfan79 oh no..not another import cheerleader..your right..maybe i should lower my standards and buy a highly over engineered truck like a toyota so i can replace the rusted out frame in 8 years ..and maybe not all of american made cars were good..but not all of them were bad either ..poke around the internet and it will shock you to read ppl who bought imports also have troubles with them..and on top of that ,they are 3 times the expense to fix..now how's that treatin you???

@390merc65 No, if you want to keep your job, buy Honda & Toyota!!! Emphasis on "KEEP YOUR JOB", which you won't be doing for long if your boss is sick of you calling in late to work because your WONDERFUL big 3 automobile broke down/would not start YET AGAIN!!!!!!!

@landyachtfan79 you might want to believe it is some secret conspiracy like we are out to get them ..but there is a flaw in your thinking..toyota is having recalls even on their own soil in japan and has nothing to do with us ,,and it is a fact toyota was hiding safety documents and knew all to well long before anything happened that they were getting complaints and toyota pushed it off as driver error ,,then it was a floor mat , then gas pedal .,toyota does not want to admit fault..
