  • I put them on leashes and stand next to each other shortly after the fight. It's been quite some time since they have fought..they use to fight all the time for years. maybe they are just pooped out now,lol

  • my shepard/pincher mix would fight with the chows all the time. LIke cesar says...play with them hard to wear them out. Be sure to look for pre-fight signals and stop it in it's tracks!!!! turn them on the one starting the fight on their back and hold them down on the ground and look in to their eyes and say no. hold them down until they relax and then pet them. I've done this with my dogs and it works great.

    Talk soon:)

    Debbie;)

  • now i am sad i have two dogs and now they want to kill each other and this makes me so sad..they fought so bad last night i had to leave the house walk around outside i could not break them apart..they finally did after being clobbered with a toilet bowl plunger by jim but im devastated on what to do now. One might have to found a new home.

  • I had the same problem with one of my dogs. we had to use a broom handle several times to slide in her mouth to release the bite...then you have to grab them quick before they fight again.
