Sure, the book and movie are different, but as a stand alone movie, this is just fine :D

There have certainly been MUCH worse werewolf movies. Come on, it's hard to do a werewolf movie anyway without it being completely lame.

@Akins560 Silver has very low toxicity to humans. If there is a silver build up in a system, whether through physical contact or inhalation of silver dust it can result in something called Argyria (from the latin Argentum). Argyria is a discoloration of the skin when exposed to sunlight. It leaves the skin a dark, often blue, color and is not treatable. While this is a result of silver toxicity, it is a cosmetic problem.

So no, humans can't really be "poisoned" by silver like loup-garou can.
