The growing popularity of Asian-influenced designer toys in the United States has led to the fame of several individuals, including Boston artist Matt Albanese, who works under his initials, MCA. Albanese has one original toy sculpture on the market, produced by Toy2R, known as the Evil Ape.

  • Wow... crazy, a sort of friend of mine collected these. I didn't believe him when he said he spent at least $70 for each one he had... but now I do.

  • How do you get these designer toy designs made if your not an artist but have artwork? Also how much does it cost to design make etc?

    I know it depends size etc but give an example of mini toys

  • hell, at the bottom of the box, it says in really small print "this is not a toy, it is a work of art" that kind of pisses me off, cuz i wanna play with my kid robot toys dammit!!!!!!
