Brooke/Lucas-8x11 AU

So here's the story that I got going through my head after the last episode: Lucas is driving home to Tree Hill for the first time since leaving two years earlier. This also happens to be the night of the storm, and he comes across Brooke after her accident and is able to fufill his promise from so many years earlier that he would rescue her. The end can be interpreted however you like. ;)

This was also inspired by desperation for a BL reunion. I can't believe Luke isn't going to make it to Brooke's wedding! Hopefully he sends a letter or is acknowleged somehow.

ALSO! (sorry, there's more) I love how you had Julian show up, and Peyton call, because it was such a painful reminder that they both settled. You know? I'm stealing this from a BL fanfic, but Brooke&Julian and Lucas&Peyton FIT, but true love? That's Brooke&Lucas. :( AND THE SCENE, WHERE THEY'RE LOADING BROOKE INTO THE AMBULANCE. AH. YOU NAILED THAT MANIP! LIKE... OH MY GOD. And the end :') BL is so perfect.

Especially adding the destiny shot with that climax in the music just....felt so real and so right. That's the truth right there, BL were perfect in their own way, and their love was true because it was real, raw, and messy. This is so... I can't even find words for it. The love you have for these two is shown through this video. I can feel how badly you wanted this to be how it worked out, and I can feel how much you miss these two. I miss them so much as well. Mark Schwahn is so fucking stupid for not making them endgame. I really love this. So much. The manips were INCREDIBLE. And the 'rescue me' voiceover is exactly what I thought of when Brooke needed saving. It breaks my heart that Lucas broke that promise. :(

This video is really beautiful and all the manips you made are absolutely flawless and realistic.

God, I wish Lucas would be back for Brooke's wedding to "give" her away to Julian...but, as it is impossible, I'll just hope for a small acknowledge that he still cares for her, even as to a friend.
