'The Essential Michael Jackson' and 'Number Ones' outsells 'Invincible'

'The essential Michael Jackson' album had already sold 6million double albums before Michael's death and a planned shipment of 4million was in place to cover sales over his THIS IS IT concert period where the album was expected to linger in the top 10 in most charts around Europe and the rest of the world. However, moving fast Sony reports it has now shipped 17million copies in total across the globe. A further 1million copies of Off the Wall and other albums like Dangerous (2.75million), Thriller (1m), Thriller25 (5m), Bad (2million) and Invincible (1million) have been shipped to cope with the new high demand for Jackson albums.
But even with that extra 1million Invincible has now sold just over 11million (some say lower due to lack of platium certifications) but these numbers allude to SHIPMENTS (estimated sales in upcoming months), making it lag behing 'The essential' by some way.

*'HIStory' had sold 21million double albums (42million units) a further shipment in the UK of 750,000million double albums has been put in place for the growing demand as this unextpected 1995 epic and my personal favourite climbs to #17 in this weeks album chart.
Within a year Sony expect HIStory to have outsold its original goal of 25million, possibly even 30.

He will be missed and it's a shame that people started buying all his music "after" he died instead of "before" but I am so proud of our KING!!! I know he is smiling down on us with God from the heaven above!! :)

he will in the next two years but elvis and the beatles both sold upwards of a billion. michael only outlsells them when you include the 100million he sold with the jackson5 and 60with the jacksons

@angelparisjordan Michael Jackson had sold 750M albums worldwide and 110M just from Thriller he is the best selling artist in the history of music Guinness world records confirmed he passed Elvis and the Beetles.

Elvis & The Beetles haven't sold 1B albums those calculations were fixed in 2007
