True, but it was their shirk as opposed to their ethnicity that made them this way. "I don't like Arabs" is too broad of a statement. I don't say "I don't like Jews." What if there was a large ethnic group in Siberia {not European Russia, but Siberia, over Mongolia} that claimed lineage to the Native Americans, and started attacking Americans while being funded and armed by China. What would you say to that? Yes, your ancestors did horrible things to the Native Americans, but you are not responsible for that. You live here now, and these people from Siberia aren't really Native Americans. You'd fight back against these invaders wouldn't you?

Palestinians may have originated in Jordan hundreds of years ago, but the people who live on the land now call themselves Palestinians. Palestinian is a national term, but the ethnic group would be Arab and the religion Islam. Palestinians do not claim to be ancestors of an ancient people and take land on that basis as do the Zionist Ashkenazi Jews, who are mostly Eastern European.
