@fredm33019 really..they are all the same. If you want cooler weather go to atleast 3500 feet above sea level. Panama is full of putas but better than Costa rica because it isn't so gringo. if you like gringo costa rica is good. I am in costa rica in a town that is very americanized called Escazu as I type. The biggest reason Medellin sucks is all the old gringos banging the prostittutes..putas. Also Poblado and Las Palmas are the nicer parts of medellin and the rest is dangerous.

I felt totally safe there and I am an American but i do look somewhat Spanish and I speak the language pretty good.. I love Colombia I want to go to Cartegena next!

You will have fun in Medellin... If you're Spanish is bad stay in the Poblado its safe! Make sure to visit one or two things outside of Medellin like Santa Fe de Antioquia and El Penol!
