  • What if the suspect knows most of these moves aswell??

  • @prmx93

Well I dont think cops can do that....

  • or you can just pop a knife outta your pocket and shank the shit outta him

  • I like it. Except for, stop disengaging. That part's garbage. If you find yourself with a aggravated aggressor, you had better be punching and or submitting him, not disengaging at the point of reversal.

  • Sorry but NO COMPLICATED gross motor skill could be applied like this. Obviously this individual has never applied this to real street situations. Also WHAT COP is going to BACK UP after a strike, instead of Cuffing the attacker. Horrible video....

  • looks useful, also @FreedomFilmdotcom, your vitctim/criminal could get a chance for recovery, assault, or escape . He could do one of the 3, good eye .

  • Check behind you.... Move forward to the open space that you know is secure. Backing up... not so good.

  • Nice technique, just commenting on the below posters comment, being an officer i can see that disengaging, once the opportunity presents itself, and utilizing your tools would probably be the smarter idea vs. continuing to grapple with a suspect that just had top position on you moments before, especially when weapons are unknown.

As for the strike, i just see that as creating that opportunity to step off the person while he may still be trying to keep you keep you engaged on the ground

  • Why strike the person's face? You are in the perfect position to do side mount control before you put your knee on his stomach. Once the knee is on the torso, you are in a fully dominant position from which you can gain control and handcuff, or disengage without a strike if you so choose. You could even transition from side mount to full mount, and use an Americana armlock to gain compliance, or if he rolls under the mount, take the back and finish the fight. Refer to Gracie University.

  • that is a pretty cool sweep
