Wow, remember when Boone (after he dies) tells Locke "I was the sacrifice the island demanded" or something like that and that he (Locke) be able to speak once he has something worth saying....Bonne was to help Locke find his way again so he can bring the family back together (family Jacob = Jack, Christian, Claire and Aaron). That is why Locke has to Kill Jacob (so Jack can join the immortals, his dad Christian, his sister Claire) and become a universal time travelling being.

man it's like we resonate together. jack has to be jacob. remember in season 3, jack wasn't on "jacob's list, neither is kate or sawyer. and in a jack flashback where he got his tatto. that woman tells him that he is a leader, but that makes him lonely and angry. and when ben and locke went to see jacob, he said "help me " to locke. i know im just blabering stuff. but jack is jacob, and he is really old.

Jacob is unseen charchter and explosive ending is 'the incident' where the swan station emits the electro magnetic pulse causing dhama to create the hatch.

i thought about Jack being Jacob too..He's dad and half sister have been hanging out in Jacob's space jumping cottage for quite a while.
the problem with this theory is that Jacob is probably as old as Richard Alpert, if not older..it would be a cool twist though..

hehe maybe it will turn out that Jack is in reality Jacob :P (Jac(k)-ob) since his father is a messanger/guide... Claire Jack's step-sister was taken by Jack's father... so its like Jack had to return back so he would become the Jacob:P
or it would be funny if the great leader of others.... would turn out to be Lock himself :P just like he done in ep15 (with seeing himself and ordering richard to pull the bullet from locks leg himself XD)
