Even with the DVDs its nice to have this up on youtube, it's much easier to share with people when you can just send them a link.

So true. I lend out my DVDs as much as I can but when I want to get someone hooked quickly its much simplier to just direct them here.

The joke comes from how they treat a horrible joke like a beautifully written musical. Its not meant to be a good musical :) And we can thank this show for Jack Black's success, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross helped get Tenacious D their start :D
