@wwit63 I have to agree with you on Maine. We have been there twice and plan on going again a couple of times this year.

There are no day permits. I asked if they had day permits and they said no. There out of state permits are $50 per year not $100 as this video cliams.

I have many friends that have enjoyed the HatMac trail system. But a little further north into the state of Maine there are over 6000 miles of interconnected ATV trails. Here in NH we have a small system of a few trails not connected at all, so many of us drive accross the border into Maine. Riding there is incredable. Great scenery, great trails, and lots of great buisness owners happy to offer nice services and accomodations throught the state.

Not sure when you actually taped this, but I would advise interested riders to check out the website as prices and several other things are different than you reported.
