  • the trains are running far too fast - it completely spoils the layout and makes it very unrealistic! shame coz its nice otherwise - looks like an untrained operator or a kid "playing with a trainset"

  • Sorry to disappoint you all regarding the cost of "something like this" but you are actually talking more like £5,000 to build this one - possibly even more. Just take a look at "Hornby Dublo 2 Rail" in the collectors sections of the internet. Just one of these locomotives at auction recently sold for £800.

  • @bikersupermoto I completely agree. No concept of modeling.

  • I can't believe that one train doesn't derail!!! lol

  • Nice layout - lots going on in a small space

  • woah they crammed all that they could onto that first layout, pretty cool tho !

  • @bikersupermoto you are right, but the layout also looks "dead". No people in the scenes and all the train do is running around in circles. No real railroad runs around in circles. This is just a child's toy train layout without any attempt at reality.

  • @bikersupermoto that what they are!!!

  • Unrealisticly fast....imagine being inside those trains trying to enjoy a brew?

  • @monsterelectronic - You got it the wrong way round - OO Gauge has the larger scale than HO Gauge. HO locos tend to be bigger because American locos are WAY bigger than British ones (something to do with the smaller loading gauge used in the UK).

  • to fast shame

  • @monsterelectronic have u seen the price of most trains these days, its terrible i was in the model shop in swansea and there was a digital sound train for nearly £300 and it was only a little shunter
