Ron Paul Schools Hannity on "Blowback"

The FOX post-debate show got a little heated last night when Hannity and Colmes got around to interviewing Ron Paul about how things went. Hannity tried to pull his usual schtick by asking a question then interrupting and talking over the guest, but Paul plowed right ahead. Hannity brought up Paul's exchange with Rudy Giuliani on the root cause of 9/11 and couldn't seem to grasp the concept of American foreign policy playing a role in Islamic terrorism. Alan jumps in at the end and teams up with Rep. Paul to counter Sean's talking point stupidity.

@Msteinebach92 i'm not beating the drums for any war and i do agree with him about getting out of the Middle East when the generals give the green light, but i am against his notion that without meddling in that region the Islamist jihadists would not be trying to attack us. That is simply not true.

@44warjunkie We send our taxpayer money and our soliders to defend countries that don't even like us. They are wars that have no end. Do you know what a war with Iran is going to cost us? We need to work on our own country before some Muslim country that hates us. If you think that these wars are for our own national defence then you should stop listening to Fox news and their war propaganda.

People who think that it’s American or Western foreign policy alone that drives these maniacs are just as delusional as Ron Paul here. These jihadists are high on religion and not contemporary political events. Hell, even the age old Crusades are a big motivator for them. Why do you think they named us the evil Crusader Allience? The list of grievances they have are endless and replenishing, as soon as you make any concession with them on one front, they replace that with yet another grievance.

@sapperzulu My screen name is irrelevant, what is relevant though is how Muslims are using theology and other forms of Islamic jurisprudence to justify their heinous crimes. How many times have you so far as read the Qoran? How about any of the Hadiths or the Sunnah? That's what i thought.
