This is the complete movie The Stranger (Straniero, Lo 1967). 11 parts in total make up the full movie. I previously posted the opening scene only and after numerous requests I'm posting the full movie. Straniero, Lo(The Stranger)an Italian movie directed by Luchino Visconti and starring Marcello Mastroianni as Arthur Meursault. This movie is based on Albert Camus' Nobel Prize winning masterpiece The Stranger. This is my favorite book of all time and the movie stays true to the novel. Enjoy guys. From one Camus lover to another.

  • It is the first part, you just have to wait a little for the titles to come up.

  • Hope it's released on DVD one day.

  • As long as you enjoyed it NEO.

  • Thank you so much for this.

  • You are very welcome.

  • I read the Fall and you right it was not the easiest one to digest. It made sense after I thought about it and then went back and read it again. You read it in one sitting? That's pretty cool. Must have made a quite an impression on you.

  • can you upload it spoken int he original italian language, without dubbing in english? i always like to hear the actors' original voices. voice-over actors suck, and their words dont fit the movement of the actors' lips! i hate dubbing!

  • Thanx ao much for uploading this, Im ashmed to say I didnt even know there was a movie of L'Etranger I practically jizzed when I found this. And so far it is not dissapointing although I imagined Meursault would seem more detatched but still it looks great :)

  • thnx :)

  • That's a french novel adapted into an italian movie.

  • My philosophy professor is making us read this book right now. I don't understand where all the hidden meanings come from. He reads a lot more into Meursault's actions than I can really see. I hate this book. The beginning is so dry, at least in the version that I have. Part 2 gets better as far as writing style but I still don't like the book. I guess I'm just not a very deep thinker, philosophically speaking, but I just don't get it.

  • thanks for the post i kinda have been obsessed with Camus

  • "Zar je važno što Marija pruža danas svoje usne nekom drugom Mersou?"
