FInally had time to get some footage of Dulce's progress and get it on here!!!
Where do i begin??? Dulce has been with us just a few days short of 4 months now! She has come so far in that short amount of time. She came to us a little filly that wasn't sure if she could trust people and is now an extremely brave and sweet yearling(She turns 1 this month!). It took her almost a good 2 months just to get haltered and since them she has completely blossomed!
In the last video i posted Dulce was reluctant to lead, and had to wear her halter and a catch rope 24/7 just so we could grab her. Today she will walk up to someone and put her head down to be haltered!
In this video, you see Dulce loading. This was literally the THIRD time we've loaded her since we've had her, all 3 times being within the last two weeks. The first time we tried to load her she walked right in like she'd been doing it all her life! I was completely proud of her. Until this point her trailering experience consisted of forcing the little thing into a stock trailer to get her where she needed to be(one of those stops being the horse auction)
You also see here Dulce's first time lunging. Now that she is a yearling we are SLOWLY teaching her to lunge. For now we're just trying to show her how to walk seperate from her handler bcs up until this point she's been lead around and told to stick with the handler. Here Steph helped by giving her the idea to walk around me and hopefully we'll need her less and less. You can see one or two times in there where steph let her go and she actually went on her own for a couple steps :)
Finallyyyyy... We will *hopefully* be taking Dulce to an open show at the end of July. She'll be doing a couple halter classes. The point of this is just to expose her to the show environment and get her out and somewhere new. We are still trying to thing of a show name for her so any suggestions are welcomed!!!!
@HondaThoru thanks so much!!! all the horses are doing really well :)

What did she spook at? Is she a little frantic at the end because she's alone? She is looking so good!
