Accelerated Self Video Art Installation.
Work created in 6 weeks for Big Art Challenge semi final 2004.
Baltic Center for Contemporary Art.
Award winning contemporary artist Chris Boyd, covers a broad spectrum of the visual arts. His multilayered art combines passionate explorations of colour and expressionism, which are both inspiring and frightening in their intensity. Boyd's unique moving image work combines exquisite painterly outpourings with hallucinatory animation and live action.
Boyd and his work has been broadcast including most music video channels including MTV, 4 Music, BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and BBC radio
He has exhibited and screened work in some of the worlds leading galleries and others which include Tate Britain, FACT Centre, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, The Lowry, Roundhouse, The Urbis, Corsica Studios and The Cornerhouse.
