@johnny102marvin playing the computers is helpful but it is good to not just stick to that one same computer because every computer and person has its/his/her own tactics and it is better to play against different ones and not just stick to one.

Playing computer chess is great for everyone because you can set the computer to the level of difficulty that you want. Start at level one then work your way up to level ten. I like playing the computer because there are no human emotional tensions involved. It is just you and the computer. The computer never makes fun of you, or acts bored, or is impatient. Start with the computer first, then play other people.
